About Me

WHO IS RHIANNE?

Captivated by horses since childhood, my experience has ranged from Pony Club and 4-H involvement to the show ring and spanned disciplines from Western Pleasure and Dressage to gymkhana to jumping. I have studied TTEAM, TTouch, Connected Riding and Inspired Horsemanship from top clinicians, Robyn Hood, Sue Falkner-March and Liz Mitten Ryan.

"I strongly believe in educating people about the highest good of the horse with the focus on learning integrated with equine guided wisdom."

In addition, I am proficient in Equine Kinetics for equine sports therapies and equine alternative wellness.  I have experience with equine-rehabilitation, working with horses from a variety of disciplines and at different career levels.  My strong interest in natural horsemanship and alternative therapies began when witnessing horses and riders, with immense amounts of pain and frustration, trying to achieve success in their careers using invariable methods of training.  I first started reading articles and reading books, attending small clinics, approaching mentors, and enrolling in ongoing training.  Now I continually learn from the endless lessons horses offer while exploring the relationship between horses and humans.

Currently I am attending my second year of Art Education studies at the University of Lethbridge.

TTEAM Canada - still in training
The Tellington-Touch Equine Awareness Method is a training approach that encourages optimal performance and well-being based on the understanding that behavioural issues are often caused by pain, soreness, fear or tension in the body. TTEAM addresses these underlying issues through a combination of TTouch Body Work, specific TTEAM Ground Exercises, and Riding with Awareness.
